Jovita graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 1999. At Suffolk, she co-founded the Journal of High Technology Law, the school's first online journal, and she served as an editor. Jovita earned her bachelor's in English with a certificate in Communication at the University of Massachusetts in 1994, where she graduated summa cum laude. |

Jovita serves as Secretary on the board of Community Law Program. She is also on the board of the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers PFAWL. Additionally, Jovita speaks Polish fluently and serves as Vice President of the Polish American Society of St. Petersburg, Inc. She is also an active member of Polonia, the Polish Center of Pope John Paul II, the Polish American Association of Sarasota, and other Polish organizations.Jovita is also a former member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association's Executive Committee. Previously, Jovita served on the Paraclete Editorial Committee since 2005 and was the editor for several years. She was on the board of the Warehouse Arts District Association as secretary for several years. |
