The Florida Bar YLD Legal Accelerator
Over the past several years, the YLD has focused its efforts on providing resources to help new attorneys operate in today’s legal marketplace.  In doing so, the YLD has created substantial content for its members including how-to videos, webinars, basic CLEs, blog posts, and more. The Legal Accelerator aggregates all of this previously existing content into one location. In addition to the existing content, the YLD has filmed approximately 1,000 mentoring videos covering approximately 500 topic areas.  These videos, which continue to be created, have been filmed by over 100 experienced Florida practitioners, including Judges. Need Guidance? Check out Lawyers Advising Lawyers!
Through its partnership with the Young Lawyers Division, The Florida Bar has launched a new website, Lawyers Advising Lawyers, featuring a peer-to-peer program giving members across the state access to veteran attorneys who can help answer procedural and substantive legal questions across more than 50 practice areas. Lawyers Advising Lawyers gives experienced attorneys a platform to assist lawyers with issues they have previously dealt with during their career. The program uses technology to provide immediate interaction by phone or email with other lawyers working in different parts of the state. Participating advisors will receive one CLE credit per consultation for a total of five CLE credits per year. To apply to become a volunteer advisor or for help with a legal question, visit http://lawyersadvisinglawyers.com/
