A CLE Luncheon Seminar Presented by the Business Law Section of the St. Pete Bar Healthy Advice For A Business Client That Would Make A Health Care Client Sick Speaker: Michael A. Igel, Esq. Trenam Kemker | The presentation will compare deal terms that would be fine in a regular business deal, but that would be illegal for health care clients. I will discuss employment agreements, leases, mergers and acquisitions, buy-ins and buy-outs, earn outs and health care audits… and will provide a set of facts for each legal issue. The facts would be permissible in a "normal” business deal. I will then apply the same facts to a health care deal, and then explain why that same deal would be illegal in the health care context. |
