Annual Scholarships for Pinellas County High School Students
$1000 YLS Essay Scholarship - The St. Petersburg Bar Association awards the Young Lawyers Section Scholarship to a graduating high school senior in Pinellas County.
$500 Judge Roney Scholarship - The St. Petersburg Bar Foundation awards a scholarship to the winner of the Judge Paul H. Roney Law Day Essay Contest. Open to graduating Pinellas County high school seniors only.
Both scholarship applications and essays are due in April 9th for the YLS Scholarship and April 12th for the Judge Roney Scholarship. Winners will be presented at the St. Petersburg Bar Association's Law Day luncheon on April 30, 2010.

Self Help Centers: Affordable legal services for those who do not qualify for free help, but cannot afford an attorney.
ABOUT THE SELF HELP CENTERS: The Self Help Centers are the result of a collaborative effort between the Clerk's Office, the Sixth Judical Circuit, the Community Law Progam and the Clearwater Bar Association.
The purpose of the Clerk's legal Self Help Centers is to assist Pinellas County citizens representing themselves in court (sometimes referred to as pro se persons) who do NOT have a private attorney. Pinellas County citizens who represent themselves in court and do not already have a private attorney representing them, can now get affordable legal assistance.
