The Pinellas County Tax Collector's office will present on the role the FLHSMV (the DMV)
has in handling title and registration transactions involving Probate. Topics will include
current common issues, Testate matters with surviving spouses, joint ownership, and
Trusts; Intestate matters with heirs; Probate specific issues with Letters of Administration
and setting aside Exempt Property, and Legal Descriptions including Life Estates, Remainder
persons, Survivorship rights, and Tenancy by the Entireties.
