This seminar is for real estate lawyers that want to brush up on knowledge needed to best serve their buyer,
investor, and developer clients. Attendees will learn about surveys (2016 ALTA Survey Standards, significant
Table A items, survey review, underwriting survey issues, and new technologies in surveying) and the advantages of
investing in Opportunity Zones via incentives codified in the in the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017. Attendees will also
explore the appraisal process focusing on existing methods of valuation in both residential and commercial
sectors, the transformation of valuations, along with an overview of Bifurcation, Evaluations, Commercial AVM’s
and how Big Data is changing the landscape of the valuation process.
