This CLE will address current issues facing business attorneys regarding succession planning, and the
proper ways to deal with proposals for settlement during litigation.  In the first part, the course will discuss
transitioning businesses after death or incapacity, management succession, buy sell agreements, and
related tax issues.  The course will then look at litigation issues surrounding proposals for settlement,
including a discussion on recent case law developments.  There will be table discussions after each of
the courses so that participates can discuss the issues with the presenters in an interactive fashion.
