A copy of a testator's will may be admitted to probate under certain circumstances if the
original cannot be found after the testator's death. The procedure to admit a copy of a will
to probate is often confused with the procedure to have a non-self-proving will admitted to
probate; however, the procedures are quite different. This presentation will walk you through
the process of admitting a copy of a lost or destroyed will to probate, including how to
overcome the presumption of revocation.
