DI “WHY” ~ Fixing Common
Estate Planning Mistakes
Speaker
Misa A. Everist, Esq.
Clarie Law Offices, P.A.
"A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client." This may be especially true in the estate
planning context. However, with the rise of online estate planning forms this adage is all too common.
Saving a buck during a lifetime can be costly for heirs after death. What can be done to fix common
mistakes made by inexperienced "estate planners"? This presentation will explore what can and
cannot be fixed, and what tools are available to make sure the decedent's wishes are honored.
