John Tucker has practice in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area for over 17 years. He concentrates his practice on bodily injury and disability claims and litigation, representing individuals in auto accidents, Individual Disability Insurance, ERISA (group) Long Term Disability Insurance, Social Security Disability, and Veterans Service-Connected Disability claims.
In 2002-2003, Mr. Tucker served as President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all Florida State courts, the Middle, Northern and Southern U.S. District Courts of Florida, the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He is also a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law, teaching a course called Employee Benefits Litigation Skills.

Social/Volunteer Organizations

Mr. Tucker is a former Board Member of the Florida Justice Association, a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates, and a member of the National Organization of Social Security Representatives and the National Association of Disability Representatives.
For many years, he was very active in area Optimist Clubs. He also served for several years on the Pinellas Opportunity Council Board and on the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. (formerly, Girls Clubs). He also served as the President of his homeowners association in Feather Sound.
More recently, he and his law firm, Tucker & Ludin, P.A., have become involved as preferred providers with the Mid-Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tucker & Ludin, P.A. also works with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
He has received several awards for his contributions to the community, including "Optimist of the Year," "Respect for Law Award" |
