Protecting the Personal Representative
Creditor Claims, IRS Liability
and more
Speaker: Misa A. Everist, Esq.
Clarie Law Offices, P.A.
When your client is appointed by the Court as Personal Representative they take on
a tremendous amount of responsibility including duties to the beneficiaries and creditor’s
of the Estate. They even risk personal liability if mistakes are made. It is imperative to
know the perils, inform the personal representative of their exposures, and to take action
to safeguard their interests. This presentation will provide guidance on various
circumstances where  caution is necessary, and suggestions on how to avoid liability.
It will also address the consequences if errors are made.
