Robert Kapusta, Jr. - President

Robert Kapusta, Jr. is the President of Fisher & Sauls, P.A., one of St. Petersburg's oldest law firms. He has been practicing law for over twenty-five years and specializes in real estate, corporate and business law and estate planning. He is also a C.P.A. and received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, law degree from Stetson College of Law and a masters degree from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Kapusta has been active in both the bar association, having previously served as its Treasurer, and the foundation, serving on and chairing the Heroes Among Us Committee, previously serving as its Treasurer and chairing its grant committee. He is also the chair of the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership. 
 
 

 

Nancy E. Biesinger - Vice President

Nancy E. Biesinger, M.B.A., is President and CEO of Franklin Affiliates Inc., a governmental affairs and public relations firm assisting bay area companies and corporations with business development, government issues, regional relations and strategic communications. She is a graduate of Eckerd College (B.A., Political Science), Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne (M.B.A./honors), and was nominated Business Woman of the Year in 2007 by the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce. From 2003 - 2005, Nancy served on Pinellas by Design, an economic and redevelopment plan for Pinellas County, and she has been appointed by Florida Bar President Jay White to the advisory council of the Board of Governors known as the Citizens Forum. She has been a trustee on the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation since 2005 and is chair/co-chair of the Foundation’s annual dinner, Heroes Among Us.

 


 

Gregory J. Hoag - Secretary
Greg Hoag is an attorney with Masterson Law Group, P.A., specializing in medical malpractice/wrongful death matters. He has been with the firm since graduating Stetson Law School in 2002. Greg has been very active with the bar association and foundation, serving as former Law Day Chair, Meet the Judges Luncheon Chair, Evening with Rays Chair and Executive Committee member. His present duties include serving on the Octoberfest Planning Committee, Law Day Committee, and the Heroes Among Us Selection Committee in addition to being actively involved with the Young Lawyers Section.
  
 

 
Jeannine S. Williams - Treasurer
Jeannine is a past president of the St. Pete Bar, Fred G. Minnis, Sr. Bar Association and the Community Law Program, Inc. In addition to her past service as President (2008-2009) and Treasurer (2005-2007), Jeannine has been very active in the St. Pete Bar, previously serving as Secretary, co-chair of the Diversity Committee and Scholarship Chair for the Young Lawyers Section. She has also served on the The Florida Bar Grievance Committee 6E and the Sixth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee. Jeannine graduated from Florida A & M University with a B.S. in Economics in 1996 and from the University of Florida College of Law in 1999. In law school, she was a member of both the trial team and moot court board. Employed as an attorney for the City of St. Petersburg, she is board certified in City, County and Local Government Law.

Erin K. Barnett
Erin is a founding member of Barnett, Wolfe, Rice & Dabule, P.A. and practices in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law. Erin received her B.S. degree from Florida Southern College and her J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law. After graduating from law school, Erin worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the State Attorney's Office Sixth Judicial Circuit and then as a sole practitioner before forming her current firm. Erin is a Former Adjunct Professor for the Police and Corrections Academy at St. Petersburg College. Erin currently serves on the Heroes Among Us Committee.
 
 
          

 
Leonard S. Englander
 Lenny is a founding member of Englander & Fischer, P.A. who received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1971 and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1975. Lenny specializes in business litigation and is Board Certified in Business Litigation by The Florida Bar. He served on the bar's Business Litigation Certification Committee for 5 years and was its 2005-2006 chairman. Lenny has served as trustee, director and officer in a variety of community organizations including CASA, The Florida Holocaust Museum and Temple Beth El among others.
 
 
 
 

 
Beth A. Horner
 Beth is Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor for Wachovia Wealth Management where she has served affluent and high net worth clients as well as trust grantors and beneficiaries for two years.    She previously served as Senior Trust Officer for Bank of America for 3 years.  Beth briefly served as General Counsel for St. Petersburg College.  She also practiced with Steven L. Hearn, P.A. and with Harris, Barrett, Mann and Dew where she concentrated in the areas of trusts, estates and guardianships, specializing in litigation.  Beth has served as the Chair of the Probate and Guardianship Section for two terms, the Law Day Committee, The Liberty Bell Award Blue Ribbon Committee, and currently serves on the Fund Development Committee and the Heroes Among Us Committee.  She also serves on the St. Petersburg College Foundation Advisory Council, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center’s Professional Advisory Council on Planned Giving and the Pinellas County Community Foundation.  Beth earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, her M.Ed. from University of North Texas, and her B.S. from the Florida State University. 
 

 
Thomas D. Masterson
 Tom is the principal in the Masterson Law Group, P.A., a small firm specializing in personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice claims. He is a graduate of South Texas College of Law. Tom has been a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association since 1975, having served on the Executive Committee (Chairman of the Trial Lawyers Section and President (1999-2000). He has served on the St. Pete Bar Foundation as a Trustee (2005-2006) and as it's President (2008-2009).Other professional organizations in which he has held membership include American Board of Trial Advocates (President: Tampa Bay Chapter 2000); Pinellas County Trial Lawyers (President: 1986); Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar (Chairman: 2004-2005); Florida Justice Association; American Justice Association (Chairman, Professional Negligence Section: 2003); American College of Trial Lawyers; and, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.  Tom has been continuously Board Certified in Civil Trial Practice by The Florida Bar since 1983, and has served on the faculty of the Advanced Trial Advocacy Workshop sponsored by The Florida Bar, Trial Lawyers Section annually since 2001.
 

 
Jason Moyer
Jason is an Attorney that practices is the areas of Construction Law and Commercial Litigation at Fowler White Boggs. As an active member of the St. Petersburg community, Jason Co-Chaired the St. Pete Bar Association's 2008 and 2009 Holidays in July event, served on the 2009 and 2010 St. Petersburg Bar Foundation’s Heroes Among Us Committee, and was a member of the St. Petersburg Chamber’s Leadership St. Pete Class of 2010. Jason received his B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in Illinois and Florida, and is a Board Certified Construction Lawyer. Jason grew up in Sarasota, Florida and lives with his amazing wife and two children in the Crescent Lake neighborhood of St. Petersburg.
            
 
 

 
James D. Thaler, Jr.
 Jim practices in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate and Estate Planning. He is a Visiting Assistant Professor and the Associate Director of Graduate Business Programs at the Stetson University School of Business Administration, overseeing the J.D./M.B.A. Program on Stetson's College of Law campus. He is a member of the State/Federal Court Liaison Committee, Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and is a Certified Diversity Trainer through the Center for Professionalism. Jim has served as the 2009-2010 President of the SPBA, former SPBA Treasurer 2007-2008, Chair of the Solo, Small Firm and Practice Management Section and 2006-2008 President of the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation. He received a B.S. degree from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky and an M.B.A. degree and a J.D. degree from Stetson University.
