Top 10 IT Security Mistakes Firms Make & How to Prevent Them -
Session #1 *Approved for 1.0 hr. Technology CLE Credit
Today professional services firms are targeted more then ever by hackers, and are victims of malware
and ransomware attacks. These security breaches not only cost the firm money and productivity, but
often lead to the loss of privileged and confidential data. These data losses can at the least cause
a loss of client confidence in the firm and at the worst lead to disciplinary or even civil actions.
This program will explain the common IT security mistakes firms make, the consequences of ignoring
them and how to prevent them.
Then stay for an ADDITIONAL 1 hr. FREE CLE immediately following the luncheon from 1:10 to 2:00 PM. Encryption 101, Protecting Client Data - Session #2 *Approved for 1.0 hr. Technology CLE Credit
This program will explain what encryption, how it works, the benefits of encrypting your electronic
files, options for encrypting data for both computer and mobile devices, and how to implement an
encryption rule in your office. The speakers will also discuss your ethical duty to protect client
information. After attending this seminar, you will discover new ways you can improve securing
your client files.
By signing up online for the luncheon you will be registered for the Session #1 CLE (during the luncheon) and receive 1 hr. of CLE, and then if you choose to stay for Session #2 you will receive an additional 1.0 hr. of CLE. However, please RSVP for Session #2 if you plan to stay. A link will be provided when registering for the Membership Lunch.
